Casinos Europe

This Casinos Europe directory highlights the most elegant and finest Europe casinos, all 4 stars+.
Some Casinos Europe require smart casual dress and there may be an entrance fee.
Most ask for your passport. Minimum age is usually 21.
Information is correct at time of writing, but may change.

At the beginning of each region, 1) I list the total number of gaming locations in that region/continent, then 2) countries in each region/continent that has a gaming location  and 3) in order of number of gaming locations with the highest first.
For example, Europe has 1680 gaming locations and France has the most—listed first.

Following is a listing by country and cities with addresses.

With 1957 Casinos Europe to choose, I narrowed the list to the top 12 Casinos Europe.
All the following are internationally renown and the clientele the same. Jet-set, new and old money, rock stars, superstars.
Celebrity spotting is not uncommon, especially for the common folk at these casino palaces. Vive la difference.

1) Monaco: The ultimate Casinos Europe experience would have to be Monaco, the little principality tucked away on the French Riviera, and its capital, Monte Carlo. The playground for the rich and famous and the rest of us.
Monaco is divided by the harbor facing the blue Mediterranean, the two areas being Monaco Ville, also known as the Rock, the old medieval city housing the Rainier palace, and our targeted destination of Monte Carlo.
While not open 24 hours, casinos remain open until the wee hours of the morning.
1) Le Grand Casino de Monte-Carlo, Place du Casino, Monte Carlo, 98000 HN, D, E. G=S, B, BJ, C, P, R. Chemin de Fer, Punto Banco. Built in 1863 in ‘royal’ style, period decorations. Bohemian glass chandeliers, rococo ceiling, lots of marble, gold fixtures, with tables of the finest wood, and intricate design.
Belle Époque architecture was popular during the reign of Napoleon III. Entering to the Atrium with its 28 Ionic columns, and across the Renaissance Hall to the main gambling hall, divided into rooms/salles.
Three other casinos nearby are: Monte Carlo Sporting Club & Casino, Monte Carlo Grand Hotel & Sun Casino and Cafe de Paris: a Grand Hotel from yesteryear.
Monaco is a fairytale come true for travelers, especially at night; and Monte Carlo, a must-see for gamblers. Although I was there many years ago, I can still close my eyes and remember the details. Maintenant, bonne chance, as we travel Casinos Europe.
